Hi
In our custom board we are using 3.14.28 kernel.
I am not able to get SPI SCLK.
Please check attached ECSPI register detail.
dts file modification for ecspi3 is as follows.
&ecspi3 {
fsl,spi-num-chipselects = <1>;
pinctrl-names = "default";
pinctrl-0 = <&pinctrl_ecspi3>;
status = "okay";
codec_tas: tas@0 {
compatible = "tas";
spi-max-frequency = <20000000>;
reg = <0>;
};
};
pinctrl_ecspi3: ecspi5grp {
fsl,pins = <
MX6QDL_PAD_DISP0_DAT2__ECSPI3_MISO 0x0b0b1
MX6QDL_PAD_DISP0_DAT1__ECSPI3_MOSI 0x0b0b1
MX6QDL_PAD_DISP0_DAT0__ECSPI3_SCLK 0x0b0b1
MX6QDL_PAD_DISP0_DAT3__ECSPI3_SS0 0x0b0b1
>;
};
What is possible case for SPI SCLK is not generated?
Thanks
Saurabh

Hi Saurabh
one can look at spi3 dts definitions (in particular cloks and sdma) in
linux-2.6-imx.git - Freescale i.MX Linux Tree
