SPDIF_OUT have no sound

hi  all,

my i.MX6 board has SPDIF_OUT wave, but it has no sound from the the speaker, i had have a test: use my PC's SPDIF_OUT replace my board's signal, the speaker works well

thers has a TEF6635HW between SPDIF_OUT and the speaker, through my test,i think the TEF6635HW controls is all right,so there must have some trouble on my SPDIF_OUT.

I have the similar issue.

I use freescale linux kernel - imx_3.14.38_6qp_beta.

This kernel already includes these patches, but this issue isn't solved.

I bought three different model of optical to R/L audio Converter box.

1. Uptech AC100 optical to R/L audio Converter

2. CYP DCT-3 optical to R/L audio Converter

3. Upmost DCT-3 plus optical to R/L audio Converter

All these three box can work with my Asus motherboard SPDIF output.

So, we can exclude this is device issue.

Only "CYP DCT-3 optical to R/L audio Converter" can work with i.mx6 board, the others just output no sound.

I suspect there is compatibility issue on freescale spdif driver.
