Hello,
Earlier I was referring to i.MX6UL datasheet "i.MX 6UltraLiteApplications Processorsfor Consumer Products" with document rev no. as "Document Number: IMX6ULCEC Rev. 1, 04/2016".--> It was in April 2016
Now I received three datasheets of i.MX6UL with No. as "Document Number: IMX6ULCEC Rev. 2, 02/2017"-->Feb. 2017.
Also there are three different datasheets for consumer, Industrial and Automotive grade.
Is there any design differece between old and new datasheets, as my schematic design is complete and I am into PCB layout stage.
Regards,
Surendra
Hello,
Regarding design - please double check i.MX6UL power up / down sequence,
taking in to account erratum ERR010690 SNVS (SNVS_LP Registers Reset Issue)
http://www.nxp.com/assets/documents/data/en/errata/IMX6ULCE.pdf
Also, You may create request to check Your design.
Have a great day,
Yuri

Dear Yuri,
You had reviewed our schematic and maintained the checklist, where I can see you remarks as folowing:
1. "Passed"
2."+"
3. "!"
Passed is OK, but what does "+" and "!" represents.
Regards,
Surendra
Hello,
"passed" and "+" mean OK ; "!" - pay attention, double check !
Regards,
Yuri.
Thanks a lot.
Hello Yuri,
I had raised a new case "00109976" regarding the power down sequence.
Could you please resolve it ASAP.
Regards,
Surendra
OK
Dear Yuri,
In recommendation checklist, there was one point as below:
>>If VDD_SNVS_IN is directly supplied by a coin cell, a schottky diode is required between VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN. The cathode is connected to VDD_SNVS_IN. Alternately, VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN can be tied together if the real-time clock function is not needed during system power-down.
However above change is not implemented in any of the EVK from Freescale/NXP, eventhough they are supporting RTC feature. That means I could not see schottkey diode being used between VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN.
Kindly confirm.
Surendra
Hello, Surendra !
is it possible to create new Community thread or request regarding VDD_HIGH_IN and VDD_SNVS_IN ?
Regards,
Yuri.
Yes Sure.
