Question about profinet solution with IMX processor

Hi, Sir: Now I am searching for some solution for profinet, I am wondering if IMX processor could be one of my choice. My questions are:

1. If IMX could work for profinet solution. If the answer is yes, is there any additional fee(like license) we need to pay if we want to develop the profinet solution with IMX processor.

2. We may need wifi, How can IMX processor support wifi? I don’t find any details comments in IMX page. 

Could you help me get some comments?

Hi Peter

- i.MX do not support profibus natively. One can consider for

example LS1021 or other QorIQ processor

Single-chip PROFIBUS Reference Platform|NXP

- wifi is supported by using external wifi module connected

to SD or PCIe interfaces
