Dear community,
We have been developing our product with PF3000.
I have a question about  PF3000 unused pin treatment.

In Data sheet PF3000 Rev. 7.0, Table 2. Pin definitions (Notes 3),
it is described that the Unused switching regulators treatment.
Pins SWxLX and SWxFB should be unconnected and Pin SWxIN should be
connected to VIN with a 0.1 μF bypass capacitor.

But the unused LDO Linear regulators treatment is not described.

[Question]
Could you teach me the unused LDO Linear regulators pins handling ?

Best Regards,
    Koichi Sakagami

Hello,

LDO outputs may be left floating, input voltage must be provided.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi Yuri,

I have One more question in this topic.

Why  LDO input voltage is necessary ?

We intend to pull down unused LDO input pin to GND.

That is, LDO input voltage = 0V.

Is it OK in this case ?

Hello,

All PMICs of PF series require all supply inputs powered, at least,

in order to avoid leakages.

Regards,

Yuri.
