Experimented with SD Card mostly, Don't Know what happened to it. The units have got changed.

For which I don't know the exact effect.

Also can some one explain, how it can be brought back to its initial state.

I tried expert commands in sudo fdisk /dev/sdb, but no result.

before

255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 0 cylinders, total 0 sectors
Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x44cf7252

after

106 heads, 30 sectors/track, 2435 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 3180 * 512 = 1628160 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0xbb3f5f5c
