Dear Team,
We developed custom board using iMX8M+ and 8GB LDDR4 RAM-MT53E2G32D4NQ-046 WT:A.
We booted the board with kernel (5.10.35) and BSP successfully.
And now we are trying to optimize the LPDDR4timing parameters/stress test using the tool "MSCALE_DDR_Tool". After calibration we tried stress test with different options as below.
It was failing with option "Stop When Fail" and passing with option"Disable memory cache"
Refer "DDR_imx8+_8GB"for failure
Refer"Mscale_ddr_tool _v3.30"for pass test
Refer"LPDDR4_2000MHz_8GB"for script generated from RPA excel for8GB memory.
Could you explain clearly on these test cases and why it fails for some options?
We are using the latest versions of RPA(V7) and MSCALE(3.3) tool.
Thanks,
Divya

Dear Team,
We are using iMX8MP and we were able to resolve the issue by changing the MR registers in RPA excel. Now all memory stress tests are passing.
Thanks

Hi Divya,
Could you please let us know what you updated in the MR registers, because same issue we are seeing in our design as well, here we see that linux comes up and then when we run stress test the test crashes after 20min.
Please can you provide some more inputs on this on fine tuning the ddr

Karthik
Could you tell us which product are you using?i.MX8MQ or i.MX8MP or others.
