Hi, I am a bit confused by the maskset identifier being blank on the part MCIMX6U5DVM10AB device marking. Usually there is a 5-digit letter before assembly site and lot info.

Below is the actual device marking, and where there is no maskset identifier.

Does masket blank meaning generic firmware or there is special meaning for that?

Appreciate in advance,

Miranda

Hi Igor, Figure 1 seems to show that every part number contain maskset ID; while this part number MCIMX6U5DVM10AB has no maskset ID on the top marking. That is why I don't know what that means and how that relates with firmware.

Thanks,

Miranda

Hi Miranda

MCIMX6U5DVM10AB means rev.1.1 silicon per Figure 1. Part Number Nomenclature.

Revision 1.1 (“B”) devices are “not recommended for new design”.

Additional marking details can be obtained in local marketing office.
