We would like to use the IMX6D pop package but cannot find documentation on what LPDDR2 dram's are supported. I found in another post that the micron MT42L128M64D2LL-25 AT is supported, but that part is now obsolete. Micron lists EDB8164B4PT-1DIT-F as a replacement, but I don't know if it is supported. Are there other manufacturers we can consider as well?
The POP package does not seem very popular, which I don't understand. It seems like a great solution to save space and board complexity. What are the negatives? Am I wrong in my perception that it is not very popular?
