Hi all,
How to change the GPU memory from default to various size?
I want to change it because of lack of GPU memory.
My target board is MCIMX8M-EVKB Evaluation Kit.
I basically built the environment under the following document.
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/i.MX_Yocto_Project_User's_Guide_Linux.pdf

Hi!
Have you got a good performance in the GPU? I can only get 2 GLOPs compared to the 9.6 GLOPs stated in the specs... have you done any configurations to improve the performance?
Thanks
Hi Takehiro,
Read the configuration file for GPU memory , please! Then change memory size for GPU, please!
linux-imx-4.14.98/drivers/mxc/gpu-viv/hal/os/linux/kernel/platform/freescale/gc_hal_kernel_platform_imx.config
Have a nice day!

Weidong
Hi Weidong,
Thanks for your response.
The memory size for GPU couldn't increased although I changed the GPU configuration or kernel codes.
I confirm the memory size by "gputop" command. But this confirmation may wrong.
If you have any way to get the memory size for GPU on i.MX8M, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Takehiro
