How to enable spidev on x86 arch ?

Apparently, there's no Device Tree in x86 arch. Any solution to enable spidev ? I am working with Yocto Project and I've been working for a while to enable it. No results. :smileysad:

I am not sure if I got your question.

If you are willing to enable spidev in i.MX devices you can take a look here How to check if SPI is working? 

But if you are asking how to enable spidev in x86 arch I am sorry, we only support NXP devices.
