Hello,

I'm trying to get IR to work in EVK.

- EVK : 8MNANOD4-CPU

- Linux BSP Version : L5.4.3

I already found the article below through a search, but it keeps failing because the board is different.

IMX8 gpio ir receiver using LIRC

Up to now, installing LIRC and checking the version has been successful.

Can you please tell me how to edit the .dts file so that the IR GPIO can be set.

unfortunately LIRC and IR are not supported in NXP BSPs, so you should add such support

yourself or apply (if needed) for help to : https://contact.nxp.com/new-prof-svcs-sw-tech

Hi @igorpadykov ,

I took a closer look at the website you mentioned.

That method was not the Yocto based solution I wanted.

Unfortunately, the directory names and locations didn't work for me, and it was difficult for me to change them.

As already mentioned in the question, the installation of LIRC was successful, and the GPIO settings are not working like the referenced site.
