Fast start from low power mode

On i.MX7 ULP, when both cores M4 and A7 are in low power mode, how fast can start the two cores? Which is the minimum time to have the two cores running the application?

To have the VIU module able to acquire images from an external camera, do we need to have Linux on the A7 core running or there is a strategy to reduce this time?

I apologize. I get a little confused with your first question. Are you meaning that how fast can both cores wake-up if they are in low power mode?

Regarding your second question. It is needed to have a Linux/Android image on the A7. In order to have access to an external camera.
