How do I disable Bluetooth on the i.MX6UL EVK? I am using the Murata 1LV module from Embedded Artists, with the Murata uSD-M.2 adapter. When I am not using Bluetooth, I don't want it to consume any power.

Hi Romit
There is an easy way to disable Bluetooth by populating a jumper on J11 of Murata's uSD-M.2 Adapter. If J11 is closed by a jumper, BT_REG_ON will be driven to low, Bluetooth module will not be powered, therefore less power will be used. For more detail, please refer to section 4.1 of Murata uSD-M.2 Adapter's datasheet. The datasheet can be found via the following link.

Hello Romit Chatterjee,
All digital I/O modules should be powered trough the processor operation, so you should not cut power to the SD module. However, most Bluetooth and WiFi modules do have some power saving modes. I would recommend checking the available power modes for the module you are using.
