Dear Sir/Madam,
Does the iMX8QM platform support the DVI-D display function? On iMX6 platform, we can connect the HDMI interface on the SoC to a “DVI-D connector” then drive a DVI-D display monitor directly, can we design the same DVI-D interface H/W connection like iMX6 on iMX8QM platform? also, do we need to have anything change in the firmware?
Hope we can hear from you soon, thank you very much for your help.

It's great to hear the iMX8QM platform supports the DVI display function! For now, our platform can drive an HDMI monitor through the HDMI interface on our iMX8QM board, and the next step we want to adapt the HDMI interface to drive a DVI-D monitor to fulfill the design requirement, and here comes some question that needs your help;
1. Based on the spec, we can connect a DVI-D interface to an HDMI port directly, can we also do the same H/W link on
iMX8QM platform?
2. Based on the test result we got when we connect a DVI-D monitor to the HDMI interface on our iMX8QM board, the monitor always show up the message said "the current input signal timing is not supported by the monitor",
we verified the EDID and the display information by the "modetest" command and we got the feedback which list
in the following, everything looking good.
3. Based on the item-2 description, should we need to modify anything in the source code or in the bootloader environment setting to correct the DVI-D display issue we got?
Thank you very much to take care of our request.
