We have designed a custom board with NXP's LPC55S69 as a host microcontroller and NXP CLRC663Plus NFC Reader IC for one of our applications. We designed the board with 30x50mm Antenna instead of the 65x65mm Antenna provided with the CLRC663 Plus Development Kit (OM26630FDK).
Based on what I have seen on the Evaluation board Quick start guide (AN11022), the default EEPROM configuration settings have been optimized for use with the generic 65x65mm Antenna and that we have to overwrite the settings using the host ucontroller.
Kindly let us know how that should be done as we are trying the run the basic discovery loop code, but we dont see any output when we place a MIFARE DESFIRE EV2 card on the Antenna. The Antenna has been designed with the NFC Antenna Design Tool and simulations were performed to confirm the optimum antenna performance for the required NFC Frequency (13.56MHz).
Should anything be preloaded to the NFC ReaderIC or any changes are to be done to the EEPROM for the use of the 30x50mm Antenna?
