I built Kernel uImage with your Kernel configuration file in SDK 2.0 1703 Kernel Source code, and used it and your dtb file to boot T4240RDB without any problem, please refer to the following.

Please use Linux Kernel source code from the formal Linux SDK release from NXP, please also update u-boot to the latest version.
If your problem remains, please capture and attach your whole console log including u-boot and Linux Kernel booting up sections.
