As NXP Devkit based on T1,T2,T4 CPU boot with u-boot,
and now u-boot is going dropping support to PPC (and m68k) its a big problem? isn't it?
"u-boot drop support for PPC and m68k boards because these boards have not been converted to CONFIG_DM_PCI configuration by the deadline."
So NXP contribute to mainline u-boot or you have a separated fork ?
I have find this repository that is related to MXP QoriQ processors https://source.codeaurora.org/external/qoriq/qoriq-components/u-boot/
Or is better to reference to the main line u-boot? https://github.com/u-boot/u-boot
Thanks!
NXP still maintains the support for u-boot on T1,T2 and T4 platform.
So NXP will continue to contribute to u-boot in terms that new release of u-boot still works with powerpc?
Yes
