Hi NXP team,

I setup P3T1085UK-ARD which intent to use as I3C temp sensor to my FPGA setting as host.

However, P3T1085UK-ARD didn't ACK for CCC command.

I use the same setup to prodigy and i have the ACK.

Attached capture waveform (No_ACK.png) for your reference purposes.

As experiment, we increase the Thigh from 36.669ns to 78ns, only Thigh other parameters Tlow_od, Tcas etc no change, we see ACK from P3T1085UK-ARD. Thigh 78ns already over the I3C od spec (41ns).

Do you have any idea what is going wrong here?

Thanks,
Best regards,
Alder

Hi Alder,

P3T1085UK supports both I2C and I3C, after POR the spike filter is enabled.

After receiving  7’h7E, the filter is disabled but this should be sent with pulse greater than 50ns width (as it is in I2C mode by default).

There has been internal communication on this topic, I suppose we can close this thread.

an additional top up question on P3T1085UK, is the device default power on with the spike filter enable?
