I use fxos8700cq.

Does acceleration change the value of the magnet sensor?

If acceleration changes the value of the magnet sensor, is there a document that can calibrate it?

Thank You

Hi,

No, acceleration should not change the value of the magnet sensing and magnetic change should not cause acceleration sensing.

However, when working with magnetometers is important to apply calibration to the sensor to avoid magnetic interference, please find more details in the application note AN4459: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN4459.pdf

And here is an example code that you can use for the auto-calibration process, you can download it from the following link: https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note-software/AN4459SW.zip
