Hello all,
The datasheet of the MPXV7002 does not mention a maximum common mode pressure for the differential sensor.
I need to measure a tiny difference between two sources that are at 2.5bar absolute pressure.
Can the sensor withstand in this situation?
Cheers,
Jean

Hello Jean,
The MPXV7002 has a maximum common mode pressure of 75kPa (~0.75Bar), this value is shown in page 3, Table 2 of the datasheet:

Unfortunately we do not have a pressure sensor with +-2kPa pressure range and a maximum common mode of 250kPa (2.5Bar).
The closest recommendation would be the MPXV7025DP, which has a pressure range of +-25kPa and can support up to 200Kpa (2Bar):

The problem here is that you’re trying to measure a small differential pressure between a huge common mode pressure (125x the range), most of our devices can support up to ~5x its pressure range (depending on the package).
We’re sorry we do not have better fit for your application, please let me know if we can help any further.
Hope it helps.
