What has happend to the A1006 Secure Autenticator IC? I can't find any information on the NXP web site about this device any more.

You can get the software after the product manager approved the request. Do you already have a valid NDA with NXP?Please note, A1006 is not available for new designs anymore. As an alternative you can use A1007 or SE05x.
