Hello mariam,
Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Please review the response from our specialist below:
There is no special example for FS26 to attach S32K358 by now, while, the code developed for S32K344 can be used for S32K358 with some small changes, such as SPI interface, PIT interrupt.
Please let us know if you have questions when using source code made for the S32K344.
Regards,
David
Hello mariam,
You would need to compare the interfaces and pinout between the two series for example. I highly recommend reviewing the Table 1 (S32K3xx chip's feature comparison) from the datasheet.
In case you need further details, I do recommend to submit a new case to get assistance from the MCU team.
Regards,
David
Hello mariam,
Please accept my apologies for the delayed response.
From the BMS Software Installation Guide and the Release Notes for FS26 SBC AUTOSAR R21-11, the S32k358 device is compatible: The software described in this document is intended to be used with FS26 SBCs and the s32k358_mqfp172 and s32k358_mapbga289 devices (among others).
Could you please confirm that you downloaded the proper package?
Regards,
David
Hello mariam,
I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.
I do recommend going to your Automotive Software Package Manager and select the SBC/PMIC FS26 package (based on your device) to be used as a reference.
You may download the Release Notes (red arrow) for further information.
I hope this information helps.
Regards,
David
