Dears,
Can you help to share the signal that eDMA transfer all the data to LPUART? Is it DOE bit?
BRs,
Ray Deng
Hi Ray Deng
Could you clarify what signal did you refer?
In the case that you are asking for what is the signal to trigger a transfer of the LPUART? then this signal comes from the LPUART and it is the STAT[TDRE], STAT[RDRF] or the STAT[IDLE] bit, and it depends on how you config the module.
In the case that you are asking for the signal that notifies when the DMA transfers have been completed, then you can setup the DMA to trigger an interrupt routine when finished and it is triggered by the DONE bit.
Hope this helps
Have a great day,
TIC

Thanks, Jorge,
If DMA work with LPUART, how can I know the typical array already sent out when sent out data via LPUART? Is that mean, when DOE set, LPUART finished data sending?
BRs,
Ray
Hi Ray Deng
Do you mean the DONE flag, right? in any case, not the DONE flag from the DMA signal when the DMA transfers have finished, but not when the data has been sent, so you going to have the DONE flag before the data actually comes out of the internal UART buffer.
Best regards
Jorge Alcala
Thanks, Jorge,
Is that mean DMA not have any bit of register to show the data have sent out by LPUART?
Thanks & Best Regards.

Hi Ray Deng
DMA and LPUART are two modules independently, so DMA doesn't have a flag that indicates when there was a change in the status of the LPUART, but it can signs when it finished working (transfers finished). For LPUART flags you can check the flags of the LPUART, there is the transmission complete in the LPUART module.

Jorge Alcala
Got it with many thanks,
Thanks & Best Regards.
