Hello NXP,
I am integrating TJA1102 with SJA1105 switch and MC S32K344.
Is it mandatory to issue a software reset (Bit 15) in the Basic Control Register (Register 0) after initializing the transceiver?
My initialization sequence is:
1- Set Bit 2 (CONFIG_EN) Register 17
2- Set Bit 0 (PHY_EN) Register 28
3- Set whether PHY acting as Master/Slave (Bit 15) Register 18
4- Clear AUTO_OP (Bit 15) in Register 28.
Do I need to apply Software reset (Bit 15 in Reg 0) after issuing the above initialization sequence? Also, do you recommend for any missing initializing step?
