Hello,
I am trying to run eval board XS32K116EVB2Q048. I am not able to flash/debug it with S32 Design Studio for ARM Version 2.2. I based on Getting Started instruction.
Jumper settings:
J104 2-3
J107 2-3 (S32K11x powered by USB micro connector)
J10 2-3
J108, J15 1-2
Project setting:
Progress got stuck on 62%:
FreeMaster connection error:
Board appears as mass storage device in PC, but I haven’t seen toggle RGB (preloaded software).
Best regards,
Pawel
It was related to Windows administrator rights. Debugger is working good now.
I followed your steps to try to reproduce your problem, but everything works fine on myside.
1.Can you try a few more times? This may be due to your PC.
2.Please make sure S32K116 has been programmed correctly "S32K116_EVB_JumpStart_Firmware"
S32K116_EVB_JumpStart_Firmware
What I need to tell you is that this routine is based on a very early version of hardware and software. It does not work perfectly with the new version of S32K116EVB, but I have tested it and at least the connection can work.
Please i am having the same issue with the same board. Not recognized on Freemaster, and s32ds for arm recognizes it as a different SKU but debugging is still impossible. Implemented the "S32K116_EVB_JumpStart_Firmware" update by copying the .srec file into the device USB folder.
Currently, all it does is make the LED light blink 8 times then a 2-second pause on repeat.
