Hi experts,
I noticed that on S32G platform, there are TSN features supported as following:
1. GMAC
Time Aware Shaper (IEEE 802.1Qbv), Time Synchronization (IEEE 802.1AS-Rev), and
Frame Preemption (IEEE 802.1Qbu) for time-sensitive networking
2. PFE
Supports 802.1AS-Rev and IEEE 1588 precision clock synchronization protocol
Especially, for GMAC, Qbu and Qbv features are supported, but it seems there is no related TSN configure application in userspace and TSN middle driver(like netlink driver) in kernel.
I wandar that, is there any plan or roadmap to add these components for TSN on S32G?
Thanks,
Zhantao
Hi,
At this moment it seems that only EST and PTP is going to be supported. There is no information as if there will be support for TSN under Linux userspace.
We could recommend sending this inquiry to your local NXP FAE for them to confirm this information.
Please, let us know.
