Failed to write SJA1110 flash

Hi guys,
I'm working with a S32G-VNP-RDB2 board.

Referring to the VNPRDBEEUG docs, I tried to download the firmware into the sja1110 flash with PEmicro(USB-ML-UNIVERSAL).

It seems that the debugger is not connecting with the chip

How to fix it?

Hi,

just to be sure, do you have P&E multilink connected to right JTAG port (uP_DEBUG), set respective board's switches as mentioned in VNPRDBEEUG and power up board then before you start loading?

Yes, the same steps as in the documentation.Since SJA1110 works fine, is the debugger version too old to be burned?What should I do next?switch to a new USB-ML-UNIVERSAL-FX debugger?

Multilink Universal Rev D should be an option too. 
What is a info displayed if you show Detail of error message?
