Wich lcd display to use

I am collecting a voltage signas and converting to digital message which are transmitted to the pc via rs232, I also want to integrate a display with more than 6 characters, the mcu I am using is the 56F8013 this mcu has only one SCI port.

Could anyone please suggest which display to use, I expect it to be cheap, could you please send the internet link.

question 2. what happens to the data stored in a flash memory when the device is approached to a magnetive field,  is it the risk for the data stored to be deleted or affected?

Fausto : If you buy Dragon12 from Wytec ,( http://www.evbplus.com/ )you get a board with LCD display included.You can play around with it...test out sample programs on how to write to it ....and if you like it ,you have the schematic layout included.

If you additionally buy a field measuring instrument ,you can try out holding the board closer and closer to a strong magnet ,while measuring the field.
