Where is DMIPS/MHz quoted?

I'm trying to locate where the DIPS/MHz is given for NXP QoriQ processors. So far I've had no luck. Please can you tell me where the figures are referenced for each core model? I need figures for E500, E500v2, E500MC and E5500 in single and multi-core configurations.

Thanks

Hope this post finds you well,

Here is the information that we got from our internal team:

Please note that this information is available in the product datasheet. We can share the datasheet with you based on which NXP product that you are interested in.

Hi,

I checked the product datasheets (P1025, T1040, T1024). I can not find any performance figures quoted. What document(s) are you referring to? Where in the documents is the information available?

Thanks,

Hello Paul Walker,

Please note that the P1025 contains the Power Architecture® e500 that has a single core of 2.4 DMIPs/MHz.

On the other hand, T1040 &  T1024 contains e5500 core that has improvements in the FPU, cache architecture and 64-bit computation, as well as provides hypervisor capabilities. It also takes advantage of the new Power Architecture ISA v2.06 and provides additional instructions for byte and bit-level acceleration.

All of these elements combined together provide an overall 20 percent performance improvement in DMIPs/MHz from the e500mc core.

Have a great day.

Best Regards,

Hector Villarruel Silvadoray
