PCIe and SerDes.

I would like to use P5040 microprocessor in an application where I do need at least four PCIe controllers. I have found some contradictorily information about the number of PCIe controllers this device could offer. I have found that SerDes is configured to define the mission of each SerDes lane, depending on that configuration, each lane support an specific controller. Could anyone tell me how many PCIe controller does P5040 offer? and how to configured them through SerDes configuration?

The processor has three PCIe controllers - refer to the QorIQ P5040 Reference Manual, 1.2 QorIQ P5040 Features:
