I'm interested in realizing a PROFINET IRT (conformance class C) device with minimal HW costs. Theirfore I apreciate using a QorIQ without external ASIC. Is there a solution from Freescale or partner available?

Even though we do not have single chip solution for PROFINET IRT solution, we have two chip solution with HMS engagement, which do not need external ASIC. We’re working on the demo for this. If you’re interested, we can provide more details later.

Hi,
thank you for your response. I already visited that page and found only information about PROFINET. But there is not mentioned wether PROFINET IRT or RT is supported, e.g. by using the QUICC engine or the like. Also the mentioned partners show solutions only for PROFINET RT but not IRT (except those demanding external ASICs).
