How can I configure the the SerDes1 & SerDes2 register to achieve three x4 PCIe & two x4 SATA in T2080 processor ?

Hi,

I am planning to used T2080 processor in my board. I need to achieve three x4 PCIe & two x4 SATA by using SerDes1 & SerDes2.

As per the SerDes register details given in the Table 19-2. SerDes Lanes Assignments and Multiplexing in the T2080_T2081 Reference Manual RevC.1(refer attachment) the there are two different register for two SerDes such as SRDS_PRTCL_S1 & SRDS_PRTCL_S2.

How to achieve three x4 PCIe & two x4 SATA ?

This configuration is not supported.

Please, refer to T2080 RM Table 19-1 SerDes Lanes Assignments and Multiplexing.

- two x1 SATA are available (no x4 SATA)

- three x4 PCIe configuration can't coexist with SATA.

Closest match is : two x4 PCIe, one x2 PCIe and two x1 SATA
