Problem with update via Freescale KDS Update Site - PEx Kinetis 3.0.0 plugin for Eclipse 4.4 (Luna)

I have a problem with update from Freescale KDS Update Site - http://freescale.com/lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/KDS (it was added to my eclipse after installing PEx Kinetis plugin.

Problem that occurs is:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

I also cannot install any new software using this i.e. I tried to install KSDK 1.2.0 Eclipse Update, i got similar error:

I managed to get it working by starting over, and reinstalling software with your advice.

I had no issues on my side. But what I do frequently is to disable this setting to avoid that too many servers get contacted:
