It seems that there is a type in the statement above. Which is the maximum processor frequency for the temperature range "C" (i.e. -40...+105)?

With a platform frequency of 333Mhz it is clear to be 533Mhz, but with a platform frequency of 266?

Actually for all 834x family (MPC8343, MPC8347 and MPC8349) this note says

For temperature range = C, processor frequency is limited to 400 (PBGA) with a platform frequency of 266 and up to 533 (TBGA) with a platform frequency of 333

Because MPC8349 is TBGA only they change it in way you have read in the MPC8349 hardware specs. For the MPC8343 they correspondingly change it to

“For temperature range = C, processor frequency is limited to 400 with a platform frequency of 266 and up to with a platform frequency of 333”
