Hi Guys,

Could you please let me know what is the difference between MC13892JVL and MC13892VL?

Both parts are EOL, the 1st one has replaced the 2nd one.

DS is saying that they are compatible, but they are not pointing any difference.

Could you please precisely advise and point that difference?

Thank you

Jarek

Hi Tomas,

Thank you for your feedback!

No, the customer does not have any issues with them so far, but they would like to know if they can use MC13892VL instead of MC13892JVL.

They are still using MC13892JVL in some of their products, however they are seeing availability on MC13892VL as well.

So, the question is, are they p2p and functional compatible?

Thank you

Jarek

Dear Tomas,

Thank you for that information!

What about functional compatibility? The customer can easily switch the parts?

Thank you

Jarek

Hi Jarek,

I just would like to inform you that I have asked our PMIC team to clarify the difference between these 2 versions. I will update this thread as soon as I have their answer, likely tomorrow.

Hi Jarek,

Please see below the answer I have just received from our PMIC team.

Sorry, we cannot find any materials to point the difference of that two parts due to they are EoL for certain time. Does the customer have any issue with them?

BR, Tomas
