Hi All,
We are trying to setup one POC in which there is a requirement to connect one imx8QM board with multiple S32K148 EVB (with ethernet adaptor) boards. also we need to establish communication with PC for sharing data.
1) Can you suggest the Automotive ethernet switch from NXP, we have to use for this activity?
>> As per understanding so far, following boards are available from NXP based on SJA1110/SJA1105 switch's,
2) In case we need to establish communication with PC, we required to have media converters for data transfer between automotive ethernet and normal ethernet. can we use following board from NXP for the same?
iMX8X

Hi @jarinp_rd
I think this is easiest setup: use this ethernet adapter for S32K148EVB and i.MX8:
https://www.nxp.com/products/interfaces/ethernet-/automotive-ethernet-phys/tja1101-automotive-ethern...
And this EVB for SJA1105:

Yes, mentioned converter can be used.

Hi @lukaszadrapa ,
Thanks for the guidelines,
1) is the above statement correct?
2) As SJA1105Q-EVB is an extension board for imx8QM it won't be enabled by default if we follow Linux guide from NXP. Is the following community link details sufficient for bringing up these ports in SJA1105Q-EVB?
Looking forward for your reply on the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Jarin P
Hi @jarinp_rd
I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with imx8QM. Could you please post this question here?
