What frequency is COSCS detected in the transceiver status register in TJA1145?
Is it the rate of CAN messages received in the partial network?
Where does the target frequency come from?

Hello Chandan,

please see the description for an answer from an application engineer dealing with CAN transceivers.

DESCRIPTION

when COSCS is set, then the receiver for WAKE-UP FRAME detection is up and running for proper reading of the CAN frames.

The start of the internal osc is happening after the TJA1145 detected a WUP (wake-up pattern) during Standby/Sleep Mode with partial networking enabled.
