I want to replace the SJA1000T chip on a commercial device.It has burned from a lightening strike.
My question is Can I directly replace the chip with a new chip? ?I hope I don't need to program it...!!

I have imported this chip SJA1000T. I want to know Do I need to program it? or without programing can I directly remove the burned one & place the new one?
