Regarding Android13 of PN553
NXP was information that it does not support Android 13
I checked NXP's Github., and the P553 name is on the Android 13 branch.
How should we perceive it?

Hi @nori :
The PN8xT family (including PN522 and PN557) are EOL, but will support up to Android 13. Android 14 will be not supported any more.

Daniel
Hi @danielchen
Is it correct to understand that PN553 will officially support Android 13 like PN557?
Best Regards

Yes, I got this information from mobile team.
But I would suggest you refer to below application note for PN553/PN557 to PN7160 migration, since PN553 EOL.

Hi @danielchen
Thank you for the infomation.
I understand that migrating to PN7160 is recommended.
We are considering upgrading the current model to Android 13.
Plan 1: PN553 to Android 13
Plan 2 :Replace PN553 with PN557 to Android 13
In the case of Plan 2, the NCI version will change from 1.0 to 2.0 for PN553 and PN557, right?
Is there anything that changes the behavior of Android 13 depending on the version of NCI?
Best Regards
