Does any know why these 2 date code not have the same marking?

Date Code 1841 has Mask set in the die marking

Date Code 1835 does not have Mask set in the die marking

Both have the correct Part#: MC68332 in the die.

Is One of this counterfeit? Looks like only 1 week apart?

Unfortunately, marking rule is confidential. I checked in our system, there isn't marking change note in 2018. In this case, please contact the company through whom you purchased the product. If you purchased product through a NXP distributor, they can provide authenticity. If you purchased the device from another company other than our distributors, ask them to trace the purchase. NXP guarantees product purchased only through our authorized distributors.
