Hello!
I have the GD3160 Half bridge EVBs and seek your guidance if its possible to generate burst of pulses (Square wave) on the GL & HL pins (on EVBs board) at certain constant interval and rest of the time should be kept at low level.
Please advise if its possible to get it done using Flex-GUI SW script editor etc?
OR I have to code the Microcontroller board FRDM-KL25Z comes with EVBs kit, I am not sure even this is possible to do so ..
Thanks in advance and look forward.
Hello AbdulHaleemMali
I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.
Could you please specify the evaluation board used?
Regards,
David
Hello AbdulHaleemMali
Please accept my apologies for the delayed response.
Have you considered using the the Pulse tab from the GUI? It is used for double pulse, short circuit, and PWM testing. Note that the FRDM-KL25Z generates such pulses.
Regards,
David
Hello David!
Thanks for the response, No issue at all.
And yes I am aware of this feature of the GD. However, I am more interested in burst of pulses: I Mean to generate burst of pulses @ 1Khz for 30 seconds and then no pulses for next 30 seconds and so on repeat this pattern... It is shown in the screenshot below as well.
Also Wondering if its possible to invoke this GUI(FlexGUI) in Matlab etc. and control some of its function indirectly?
Hello AbdulHaleemMali
I am pleased to contact you again.
1. I am afraid that the pulse tab only supports double pulse, short circuit, and PWM testing.
2. FlexGUI is not intended to support external firmware such as Matlab.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this situation might cause.
Regards,
David
Hello dear!
Thanks for the prompt response, Yes all well here.
The Evaluation board we are using is GD3160 XM3 Half-Bridge Evaluation Kit .. Earlier we used it in our Lab for Double Pulse Test and Short Circuit as well.
I wonder, if there is a possibility to generate the pulses at specific interval on GH/GL pins ?
