Hi,

We are a designing a long range high power HF RFID reader based on ISO15693. To increase the range, we are planning a 4W system.

Is there any reference available for external power amplifier design?

How does the power amp affect the impedance matching? If so, what are the additional steps to be followed to during antenna matching circuit design?

Hello Akash,

    We have an application note on how to use external AMP for NFC reader, the AN is on document server.

    Customer can follow these steps to apply for the application note.

(1) Registerring an account on "https://www.docstore.nxp.com "

(2) logging in it.

(3) Searching "AN1425"

(4) below information will be found

(5) Downloading it.

Probably when you download it, you may be prompted "Waiting for administrator approval", then you can wait.

If not, you will be allowed to download it immediately.

Will this work also on ISO15693 reader chip such as PN7462?

If so please help me to understand how.
