I am using Ubuntu machine for the development
I successfully set up S32 design studio from NXP and was able to flash my
S32K3x4-Q257 board.
Also I was able to install the MBD toolbox, but it fails during the license check.
Since Linux does not have "vol" command I used my Ethernet address to generate license file.
However it always fails license check... I noticed that at NXP_MBDToolbox_S32K3xx/tools/mlt/ folder only has *.exe files that would not work in Linux.
Is there any way to use it with Linux? Toolchain seems to be compatible, only license activation is the problem!
Sorry to hear that... Do you have any plans to add support for Linux as well?
Hi @Nomados,
The Model-Based Design Toolbox is a product developed and tested on Windows only, so, unfortunately, the Linux OS is not supported. For more details about the MBDT system requirements, you can consult the Model_Based_Design_Toolbox_S32K3xx_Series_Quick_Start_Guide document.
