adc_pal configuration for group convertion with EMIOS hardware trigger

Hi,

I'm using ADC_PAL component of processor expert to configure for a EQADC conversion group triggered by EMIOS edge. When there are 4 adc channels in the group, the hardware trigger and conversion works fine. However, when I add another channel and there are 5 channels in the same group, it can't sample and conversion correctly.

Then I try to use software trigger to do the same test. It works fine with 4channels, but return STATUS_BUSY status with 5 channels. Enclosed with the project I'm using.

Is there any limitation in the number of conversions in one group?

Hi, there no such limitation there, at least in case eQADC commands are being filled by DMA continuously. Are yo using streaming mode?

I check the RM of MPC5777C, the ADC fifo depth is four, is it root cause for this case?

What should I do if I want sample more than 4 channels in a single trigger, should I activate streaming mode?

Certainly not, but you may use up to 8 command entries with streaming mode, in case configuration used does not continuously push command to the CFIFO (by DMA).
