TJA1102 Dual PHY - SMI Register access

We are trying to configure some options of the PHY via SMI write. However after writing a register if we read the register again seems that it is not updated at all.

SMI readings of this PHY are working as expected but the SMI writings are not working.

Any idea of what is happening? Is there some pre-conditions for SMI write access?

Set 17.2 CONFIG_EN to 1 before any writing, solve my problems.

Could you please clarify me following points?

• Do you use NXP Linux driver or your own driver?
• What is the command you use to write to register?
• Which register you try write into?
