Does anyone know what happened to the PXS Functional Safety Series Microcontrollers? I notice that the PXS2010 tower board and other PXS boards are gone and the documentation for the series is now in the archive section. I was planning on using a third party PXS30 module in a low volume product but not if Freescale have killed it.
Solved! Go to Solution.
It was decided to merge the PX series into Qorivva microcontrollers. This includes all PXS20, PXS30, PXD10, PXD20, PXN20 and PXN40. These devices have 100% compatible equivalents in Qorivva family.

So it was a marketing name change only? So I can still buy a PXS3020 but it is now a Qorivva part number?
PXS3020 should not be used in new design. But please do not worry becaue MPC5675K is 100% compatible replacement. PXS3020 and MPC5675K are identical, their internal silicons are same. Only the material of the package is slightly different. PX series is intent for industrial temperature range from -40C to +105C, while the MPC5675K is for automotive temperature range from -40C to +125C.
Hi Does MPC5675K series support In system programming...
yes, the same with PXS3020, MPC5675K also supports in system programming.
Hi Fiona,
My customer has already brought PXS3020 tower system, They will order MPC5675K tower board but it may take 4 weeks to reach.
Since PXS3020, MPC5675K do not have any diffrence except part number change, please let me know can my customer work with PXS3020 tower kit till they get MPC5675K Tower kit...
Please let me know what are changes customer has to do to migrate the code from PXS3020 to MPC5675K. Kindly provide if any migration guide is available.
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
For making use of ISP feature in MPC5675K, which serial port can be used.
Please provide link where I can find how to implement ISP for MPC5675K.
