Is there a simulator for the MPC5643L Qorivva MCU?

We are developing various applications for the MPC5643L MCU and would like to run compiled binaries within a simulation environment, does such a tool exist?

Wind River Simics sounds like it might be the right kind of tool but this processor isn't on their supported list:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

1) Freescale does not provide any simulator for MPC5 devices.

2) Having checked Wind River Simics I have  discovered it does not suport e200z4 core devices (MPC5643L).

It supports:

• Freescale e300
• Freescale e500
• Freescale e500mc
• Freescale e600
• Freescale e5500
• Freescale e6500
• Freescale MPC603e
• Freescale MPC750 ("G3")
• Freescale MPC755
• Freescale MPC74xx ("G4")

3) The colleague of mine informed me you should try Green Hills (http://www.ghs.com/products/mpc5500.html)

So, I would suggest you to contact Wind River and Green Hills directly wiht your requirement for simulator to get the most detailed info.
