FlexCAN CRC failure handling

We are using MPC5554 controller and CAN (FlexCAN2) is being used for communication between processors. The question is if the CRC failure is identified in CAN hardware, will the message buffer data is discarded or only status flag (CANx_ESR->CRCERR) is set.

Hi,

only a message without any CAN protocol error detected is stored into Message buffer, so yes received message in RX SMB is discarded.
