issue with external nor flash with EMC of LPC54618J512BD208

Greetings,

we are facing problem with EMC while interfacing parallel nor flash of Micron manufactured(1Gb). EMC not reading the data correctly. we are not getting the data in single Reading cycle. it is taking 2 read cycles to get the first address data. Please suggest any solutions.

example: if i need data at address 0x12

read(0x12);here we are getting 0xFF;

read(0x12);here we are getting the real data of 0x12 address.

Note: There is no problem with 9s12 micro controller. we are facing problem with LPC54618 controller. Please send any reference code for 1Gb parallel flash of 16bit data width using EMC.

Hi,

Can you post your flash schematics related to EMC and the corresponding code so that we can have a review for example if the data bus is 16 bits or 8 bits?
